Off we go.
It seems my book has gone on sale ahead of schedule and WATCHMEN fan sites are abuzz with lame snapshot reproductions, opinion, and critique of my images.
I've said it before and I'll say it again, it's all very exciting and flattering to think that my images are being seen so far and wide and in such a way that encourages discussion. To say nothing of the lovely 200 page coffee-table book. Just today Empire Magazine gave it five out of five stars. Holy cow!
Elsewhere, there's a transcription of an interview I conducted with one particular fan site that, for those with a little more time on their hands, can read here He also uses legit images. Not crappy glare-strewn Sony Erickson snapshots.
The subsequent discussion borders on the surreal. It's almost like this Clay Enos guy is someone other than me.
Make pictures.

Congratulations! Great to see you getting the success you have long deserved. I remember the days back in NY trying to get the Street Studio book published.
Besides seeing some more amazing pictures and the interview on the Watchmen site...
A Watchmen-themed Coffee? O_O (I'm a bit of a coffee nut /addict)
Yeah, this helped make my day.
P.S. When will such coffee be on sale on the OCC.com site?
Congratulations, man. Those photos are by far the best watchmen movie related material yet. I love them even more black and white, it's great trying to imagine the colors!

Hey, I love my phone! Though I probably should have set it to 2MP rather than VGA when I took the pics. *waves*
AYBGerrardo,
You are too funny. Thanks for chiming in. Waves back at ya!
That coffee's not going to last long at all, Clay!

Book arrived in UK 29/01/09. You are an amazing fantastic portrait photographer. Love the B&W portraits and the dark low key / high key style. How do you achieve this? So much detail. I've photographed a couple of very, very low budget films as stills/unit photographer. Now I'm going to change my style and use yours; Hope you don't mind. Ref the book again, small criticism; details on your working methods would have been nice, have you released these details anywhere?.. So what's your next film project?
It is easily one of the most beautiful books related to a film ever published! I was moved by it emotionally.
Your images are beautiful.
The book is a loving gift to fans of the material and we are thankful for it.
Best to you, and thank you for creating something that will further the legacy of this great masterwork and take it to another level.
