Inspired Down Under
I received this excerpted note in my inbox yesterday:
"I am an Australian high school Media teacher and just wanted to write to tell you that my class has been looking at your work over the last couple of weeks and have enjoyed it immensely. Although your Watchmen work was our 'in' point, the class has taken to your other photography subjects and style with great enthusiasm.
To see twenty students avidly studying the theory of photography, as well as taking pictures whenever possible, has been incredibly rewarding. I would just like to thank you for being so accessible on the internet and for creating such engaging work."
That's is very gratifying stuff. A BIG SHOUT-OUT to Norwood Secondary College from little ol' New York City.
Keep up the good work gang and be sure to share your work with anyone who'll take the time to look. A good critique is the secret ingredient of success.
Make pictures, you never know who'll be inspired.

Your work is indeed inspiring, Clay.
I've been looking through the portrait book you signed for me the other night and each photo is more striking than the last.
Thanks for that.
