Proposed Vespa Route
So with any luck and a certain amount of fast and furious organizing, I'm headed across the country on a Vespa. I've got worked lined up on Zack Snyder's next film so it seems only logical to take off on a little domestic adventure between now and then. It's looking like Vespa is on board and with their support, Apple Stores galore inviting me to speak, and my own quest for local and organic food, the next month and half is going to be chock full of fun. ;-)
A website and various goodies await. Stay tuned. For now, this map has my imagined route in red. Vancouver is my destination. As always, I'm open to suggestions, just put them in the comments section.

I think you should swing down to Denver! Also in honor of the Dumb & Dumber scooter ride up to Aspen...
Go south to New Mexico, White Sands is gorgeous! and you got a free crash pad! :)
Cross-country on a scooter? That's hardcore. :) Ride safe and stay away from those crazies on the interstates!
You are the man! If you get close to Nashville (which it doesn't look like you will) I would love to catch up for a few minutes.
It'll be a while until you get to Seattle, hopefully you aren't too beat by the time you get to the Wet Coast. Big photography community here so hopefully we'll be able to give you a nice big welcome. It'll be fun to follow!
I saw you on the eat well guide. I blog about eating on the road for business. I try to eat local, organic etc. It is sometimes difficult. When you leave cities with good grocery stores be sure to stock up. There are still some places in the US with limited options. Eat Well Guide has been very helpful. Clay,
We're excited to see you come through Iowa on your Vespa tour. Let me know if I can help with housing arrangements or ideas for great restaurants or scenic photo areas.
I'm a full time photographer for a state wide company and have traveled the state extensively. Can't wait to hear from you.
Anything you need and Iowa consider it done. Excellent project!
Joe
You can't miss Las Vegas I would even put you up while you are here. Stay safe
