Spread19
So I'm digging around my archives in preparation for Saturday's seminar at Kansas City's Digital Labrador and it occurred to me that I've been tweeting more than blogging lately. Apparently I'm not alone either.
Regardless, I stumbled into this mock spread that I made years ago as I was putting together an early version of my portfolio. The three girls on the left were taken in Caracas and the two on the right were snapped in Punta Del Este, Uruguay. Both shoots shared a perfect quality of light and wonderful spontaneous vibe. It seems only fitting that they should go together much after the fact. Spreads are an interesting exercise in allowing photographs to talk to teach other.
So that's that. I haven't forgotten this blog. In fact, plans are coming together for a Vespa-driven cross-country trip that should see me blogging almost daily. Fingers crossed.
Make pictures.
