Good stuff. I found your site through the Wired video and saw your trip plan and took notice as I have been considering a cross-country trip on my Suzuki scooter for some time. I would love to know what kind of unexpected problems or issues you might have encountered so far.
As a Dutch guy living in San Francisco I am still amazed how long it takes to get out of urbanization. In Europe we are used to be able to get out of a city quickly and be able to see a skyline. Your time-laps video demonstrates how long it takes to "Get Out".
How did you make this movie? I noticed an LX-3 mounted on the steering wheel. But I don't recall a time laps function on this camera.
