Monsanto Plant
I'm sure this isn't food being made but more than likely this Monsanto plant is digging stuff from the ground to put on your food.
I'm out of my league here. I was just driving though.
Regardless, I couldn't resist pulling over for this obvious juxtaposition of overflowing flowers with flaming industrial who-knows-what.

talk about the "bad seed"...
after seeing "Food, Inc." all i could think of was, i've been making choices --or "voting"-- with my dollars for YEARS now, but my small contribution to a different, better way of producing different, better food (e.g., organic, whole) is no match for an evil giant like monsanto.
of course, i'm still going to keep doing what i've been doing, but i'm afraid real, significant change is going to have to come from higher up -- if we want to see change in any kind of foreseeable future, that is. and i feel like we don't (the world doesn't) have time to wait for slow, incremental change anymore.
Your lucky they did not send their goons out. I was photographing a nuclear power plant in the late 1980's in Ohio and the security guys rolled up. I smiled, waved, then bolted for the car.
