Sucker Punched

It's something I told my friends and family would happen but I didn't let my virtual friends know that my Vespa Tour was ending in Vancouver so I could go straight to work on Zack Snyder's latest film, Sucker Punch. I'm the on-set still photographer trying to repeat my efforts from Watchmen.

As anyone who knows the daily grind of filmmaking, it's all-consuming. I don't return phone calls, emails get buried and disappear with embarrassing neglect. Work and sleep become the only priorities of the day.

Adding to the lack of blog postings is the fact that I am embargoed from sharing any of my 20,000-plus pictures (so far). The first images from this production probably won't be seen for months.

All that said, I'll try to mine some more Vespa Tour images shortly and share those. I made some portraits of a young farmer in Ketchum, ID I've been meaning to share but never find the time to give them some love. Again, Sucker Punch is getting all my attention.

That's the word from Vancouver where the rain has set in and my Vespa continues apace as my commuter vehicle of choice.

Make pictures gang. I am.

:) Thanks for the update. Glad to hear you're doing well, the film seems to be keeping you busy! Believe it or not I am jealous of every second...

If only you could share your pictures! I guess we'll see them some day.

Clay, thanks for the update. Glad you finally had a chance to stop and catch your breath. I know the images from Sucker Punch will be awesome, just like everything from the Watchmen shoot. I'd also like to thank you for all the inspiration you provided in your workshop here in KC and on the Vespa tour website.
