Dry MIll Detail (By Request V)
This isn't a work of art so much as it's a peek into what catches my eye, patterns, color, and simple compositions.
It was taken as I was walking around unaccompanied through a mostly empty coffee mill in Dos de Tilaran, Costa Rica that is owned by the Coopeldos Co-op. The only thing memorable about it's creation is that this guy politely stopped in his tracks to avoid walking into the frame. Out of the corner of my eye I could see his double-take glances at my odd choice of things to photograph. I made the shot, took a closer look at him, and saw far better, more interesting potential in his portrait. (Those images are right next to this in the Flickr stream)
I forgot all about this shot until reviewing images in Lightroom. I'm glad someone liked it.
Make pictures. Patterns, portraits, whatever.
