Today's installment is a longer chat inspired by the Wired.com video about my Streetstudio portraits that's been making the rounds of the interwebs.

It's as low-fi as ever.

If you have some kind of a confidence block about photographing strangers, Try practicing by taking photos of Statues. Treat the statue as if it where a person. After all most statues are already posing. It may help.

Thanks for a great video. Definitely inspiring. Your passion really comes through. I wish you the best. Do you share the website with all the street portraits that you've done? Would love to while away a couple of hours learning from them

Clay, you inspired me to set up a street studio of my own. I needed to add lighting as I was shooting at night. Thanks for the inspiration. Here's the shoot. http://jmphotographyonline.wordpress.com/2011/07/11/studio-in-the-street/
